NIFA encourages all first assistants to get involved in a
surgical mission. First, please understand that NIFA
cannot arrange surgical missions for its students or graduates with Dr. Geelhoed
or any other surgical mission organization. Secondly, whereas many of you were
hoping to assist Dr. Geelhoed personally; he has his own first assistants
already scheduled in the foreseeable future.
If you are interested in working with Mission to Heal,
please do not contact NIFA. You would need to visit
http://www.medicalmissionhalloffamefoundation.org/donate.html and go
through the normal Volunteer application process to find out if they can use
your services. We are compiling a list of other possible organizations you could
offer to volunteer for to be placed on this page in the near future.

Dr.
Glenn is a widely published author accredited with several books, as well as over 500 published journal
articles and book chapters.
Glenn’s newest 485 page book, “Surgery and Healing in the Developing World,” was
recently released at the American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress in the
hopes of encouraging and preparing others, such NIFA graduates, to serve the greater
global patient population. It is now FREE to NIFA guests and
student/graduates by clicking here
