NIFA®
entered a formal partnership entered with the College of Southern
Nevada (CSN) to jointly present the CAAHEP
accredited SA250 program. The collaboration is to be called
the
‘Surgical Assistant Consortium.’
According to CAAHEP, a Consortium is an entity
consisting of two or more members that exists for
the purpose of operating an educational program.
Even though
the SA250 program remains CAAHEP accredited, the
Consortium of NIFA
and CSN have elected
to implement a moratorium on all enrollments in SA250
while it goes through the CAAHEP application process.
